Cabo Voted A Top Town In Mexico

Lots has been happening in Cabo over the past few weeks! Expedia just ranked Todos Santos, Cabo San Lucas, and La Paz in their list of the 32 most beautiful towns in all of Mexico.
Coming in at Number 19 was the vibrant and active village of Todos Santos. Originally founded as a Mission in 1724, the town of “All Saints” is drenched in creativity, spirituality, and adventure. Only a 50 mile drive north of Cabo, this ruggedly beautiful oasis seems a world away. This laid back but vivacious haven offers a serious culinary scene, boutique hotels, eclectic shops and cafés, surf schools, and art galleries. Rich in history, old traditions, and mixed with modern conveniences make this a genuinely magical community in the Baja. They don’t call it “Pueblo Magico” for nothing!

Closely followed at Number 22 is the renowned Cabo San Lucas. Home to the iconic and majestic rock formation called El Arco, which literally sits at Land’s End. This spot where the spectacular Sea of Cortez blends with the Pacific Ocean is breathtakingly beautiful. Lively Medano Beach is lined with hotels as well as an abundance of eating and drinking establishments. Walk up and down the beach and you will find an endless supply of water activities: jet skiing, paddle boarding, parasailing, snorkeling, and horseback riding are just a few. Sportfishing is huge in Cabo and the fleet is headquartered here. Venture into town for a slew of trendy restaurants, bars, clubs, and shops. This jewel of the Baja Peninsula should certainly be on everyone’s bucket list!

Last but certainly not least coming in at Number 24 is the capital La Paz, which is the base of eco-tourism in the state of Baja California Sur. Offering a beautiful collection of beaches, lively squares, and city streets – all surrounded by the unparalleled beauty of the Baja desert. The mix of old world charm and upscale trends makes this city a great international blend. La Paz, meaning “peace” is also where people come to enjoy marine wonders and even offers travelers a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with Whale Sharks in their natural environment. Not many other places in the world afford such experiences!

As if having three of Baja California’s towns listed as some of the most beautiful in Mexico weren’t enough – five hotels just recently won esteemed World Travel Awards, beaches have been awarded Blue Flag status, and new flight routes have been announced. Overall, an extremely exciting month! What are you waiting for?
